Washington D.C. is a fascinating city filled with history and politics. Whether it is your first time visiting our nation’s capital or you have visited many times, my office is happy to assist you in scheduling tours at some of the most popular sites in Washington D.C.

The following list includes information and resources for sites that are open for tours. Please keep in mind that tickets are extremely limited and are intended for Wyoming residents only.

Capitol Tours

My office schedules staff-led Capitol tours Monday through Friday, except on federal holidays, between the hours of 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Tours are limited to parties of up to 15 people and must abide by Capitol Visitor Center precautions. Additionally, larger groups can now book tours that will be led by the Capitol Visitor Center. Please fill out the tour form located below to schedule a tour. Reservations for staff-led tours are required, and it is recommended that you make your reservation at least one month in advance. Additionally, Virtual Capitol Tours are being provided by the CVC and can be registered for here.

White House Tours

Public tours of the White House will resume a full operating schedule from Tuesdays through Saturdays beginning on Tuesday, July 19, 2022. Public tours will be available from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted. All White House tours are free of charge. The White House tour schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or official use. Reservations are required and requests may be submitted by our office to the White House up to 90 days in advance and no less than 21 days in advance. Tour decisions are made by the White House Visitors Office approximately 2-3 weeks prior to your requested tour date.  Please fill out the tour form located below to schedule a tour.  NOTE: Please remember all tour approvals are made by the White House Visitors Office and are subject to last-minute cancellation.  For additional information about the White House, visit the White House Visitors Center located on the southeast corner of 15th and E Streets (1450 Pennsylvania Ave NW) or the official White House tour website at http://www.whitehouse.gov/about/tours-and-events.

Federal Bureau of Investigation

Constituents wishing to tour the FBI are required to submit requests through my office. Tours are offered Monday through Friday at the hours of 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. FBI tours may be scheduled at the earliest, five months in advance and must be scheduled no later than four weeks before your requested tour date. At this time, the FBI Experience has limited the group size to thirty visitors per tour time. If your group is larger than 30, it will be split into two separate tour times. For example, with a group of 38, 30 guests can be scheduled for 1:00pm and the remaining 8 guests can be scheduled at 2:00pm. The FBI Experience tour is designed to last between 60 and 90 minutes. In order to request an FBI Experience tour, my office must submit secure information on your groups behalf. This includes but is not limited to; social security number, date of birth, etc. The Privacy Act of 1974 prohibits the release of sensitive information without proper approval.

White House Tour Information

White House tour requests may be submitted by our office to the White House up to 90 days in advance, but no later than 21 days before the requested tour date.

Each person in your tour party must submit security information to the White House via a link they provide.
