Visiting DC
Washington D.C. is a fascinating city filled with history and politics. Whether it is your first time visiting our nation’s capital or you have visited many times, my office is happy to assist you in scheduling tours at some of the most popular sites in Washington D.C.
The following list includes information and resources for sites that are open for tours. Please keep in mind that tickets are extremely limited and are intended for Wyoming residents only.

Capitol Tours
My office schedules staff-led Capitol tours Monday through Friday, except on federal holidays, between the hours of 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Please fill out the tour form located below to schedule a tour. Reservations for staff-led tours are required, and it is recommended that you make your reservation at least one month in advance for groups smaller than 15 people, and at least two months in advance for larger groups.

White House Tours
Beginning May 7, 2025, visitors will be unable to access to the White House Complex without a valid form of government-issued ID: a REAL ID or a passport. Non-REAL IDs will no longer be accepted for any guests visiting the White House Complex. For more information about REAL ID, please see here.
Public tours are typically available Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM ET, and Friday through Saturday, 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM ET. All White House tours are free of charge. The White House tour schedule is subject to change based on inclement weather or official use. Reservations are required and requests may be submitted by our office to the White House up to 90 days in advance and no less than 7 days in advance. Tour availability is very limited, so it is recommended you submit your request as early as possible. Tour decisions are made by the White House Visitors Office generally 1-2 weeks prior to your requested tour date. Please fill out the tour form located below to schedule a tour. NOTE: Please remember all tour approvals are made by the White House Visitors Office and are subject to last-minute cancellation.

In addition to the White House tour, the White House Historical Association recently opened the People’s House at 1700 Pennsylvania Ave, NW. This is an immersive exhibition museum that depicts the history of the White House with unique features such as a replica of the Oval Office and historical artifacts that once lived in the building. Tickets are free and can be reserved here.
Federal Bureau of Investigation
Constituents wishing to tour the FBI are required to submit requests through my office. Tours are offered Monday through Friday at the hours of 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. FBI tours may be scheduled at the earliest, five months in advance and must be scheduled no later than four weeks before your requested tour date. At this time, the FBI Experience has limited the group size to 30 visitors per tour time. If your group is larger than 30, please contact my Tour Coordinator for more information. The FBI Experience tour is designed to last between 60 and 90 minutes. In order to request an FBI Experience tour, my office must submit secure information on your groups behalf. This includes but is not limited to; social security number, date of birth, etc. The Privacy Act of 1974 prohibits the release of sensitive information without proper approval.
Supreme Court Lectures
On days the Court is not in session, constituents and other guests of members of Congress are eligible to reserve seating for the 12:30 p.m. Courtroom Lecture. This 25-minute program provides an overview of the judicial functions of the Supreme Court and may also include some description of the art, architecture, and history of the Supreme Court Building. A maximum of 6 guests may be scheduled per lecture. Reservations can be made up to 3 months in advance and, at the latest, 3 weeks from the lecture date. Due to the annual closure of the Courtroom during the month of August, dates may not be available or may become available on shorter notice.
Any group larger than 6 or anyone who is unable to secure a reservation may attend any scheduled lecture, including the 12:30 p.m. lecture, on a first-come, first-seated basis. At the 12:30 p.m. lecture, guests without reservations are admitted on a space-available basis.
