WASHINGTON, D.C. — Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) released the following statement regarding Senator Cynthia Lummis’ (R-Wyo.) announcement that she won’t be running for reelection.

“Cynthia Lummis is a perfect senator for Wyoming. From Miss Frontier Days to the Wyoming Legislature to the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate – Cynthia has never stopped fighting for the people of Wyoming. 

“Cynthia is a straight shooter and a trailblazer. We’re going to miss her infectious energy and iconic laugh in the halls of the U.S. Senate. I’m grateful we have another year to work side by side serving the people of Wyoming.”
