WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, issued the following statement after President Biden addressed a joint session of Congress.

“President Biden’s speech tonight underscored why his first one hundred days have been so bad for America. His socialist spending sprees and attacks on good energy jobs are hiking taxes and pushing people in Wyoming into unemployment.

“The president had a chance tonight to reverse course and embrace bipartisanship. Instead, he has turned over the keys to the White House to the far left wing of his party.

“Republicans will continue our fight against the radical, dangerous, and scary policies the Biden administration is trying to force through Congress. The American people and families across Wyoming are counting on it.”
