CASPER, WY – Today, U.S. Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, issued the following statement after the December 2022 Consumer Price Index (CPI) revealed inflation has risen 13.5% since Joe Biden took office in January 2021.

“American families continue to suffer because of the reckless policies of the Biden administration. The cost of everyday goods has risen faster than paychecks for 21 straight months. Democrats’ out-of-touch policies mean everybody is paying more for less. Americans are worried about the future and need relief now. Senate Republicans are focused on making life more affordable for families in Wyoming and across the country.”
