THERMOPOLIS, WY - U.S. Senator John Barrasso and fiancé Bobbi Brown heralded the New Year with wedding bells.  The couple exchanged vows in a traditional ceremony at the Brown family church in Thermopolis on New Years Day.

The intimate wedding was a traditional church service, followed by a small family gathering complete with toasts to the bride and groom, the bouquet toss and the finest Wyoming fare to celebrate the union.

The service was certainly a family affair.  Bobbi Brown’s cousin is an Episcopalian Priest and participated in the service.  Another cousin arranged the flowers and the Senator’s niece provided the vocal accompaniment.  Of course the finest Wyoming beef and produce were served.

Senator and Mrs Barrasso will enjoy a brief honeymoon in Wyoming .

The happy couple first met 25 years ago at a Republican convention.  They began dating five years ago.  Both Casper residents have children from previous marriages.
