WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Barrasso, R-Wyo., has selected nominees from Wyoming for the United States service academies for 2008.

Barrasso has announced his choices for the U.S. Air Force, Military, Merchant Marine and Naval Academies .

“The responsibilities of academy life are significant,” Barrasso said. “These students have shown the characteristics necessary to succeed.  I am confident that if they are offered appointments they will rise to the challenge. They will be fine representatives of Wyoming to the academies.”
