WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator John Barrasso, R-Wyo., today conferred with Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigations Special Agent Flint Waters, a world renowned pioneer in child exploitation investigations.

Waters was in Washington to brief the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on the extent of on-line child exploitation in the United States and around the world.

Barrasso and Waters discussed Waters’ unique technology which pinpoints the internet protocol (IP) addresses of criminals trafficking child pornography.

Flint’s tireless work and innovative technology has made the world a safer place for our children,” Barrasso said. “Law enforcement agencies all over the world look to him as the leading expert in the field.

Waters’ technology is used by the Federal Bureau of Investigations, Europe ’s Interpol, and various state and local law enforcement agencies.
