Barrasso Introduces Bill Prohibiting Political Appointees from Aiding the CCP

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), Cynthia Lummis (R-Wyo.), Mike Braun (R-Ind.), and Bill Hagerty (R-Tenn.) today introduced the Cutting-off Communist Profiteers (CCP) Act. This legislation would prohibit any U.S. political appointees from knowingly representing, aiding, or advising the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Chinese military companies.

Barrasso, Lummis Join Push to Balance Washington’s Budget

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senators John Barrasso and Cynthia Lummis, both R-Wyo., joined U.S. Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) and their Republican colleagues in introducing a balanced budget amendment to the U.S. Constitution. This joint resolution would force the president and Congress to enact annual balanced budgets.
